5 reputable batsmen who can not
score a hundred in ODI career
Every ODI batsman remembers his century for a long time. For
the past few years, there has been a double century in ODIs. Now the excellence
of the batsmen is determined by their runs as well as their number of
centuries.
Virat Kohli has played only about 200 ODIs and has reached
32 of his hundreds. While Kohli is easily chasing a century after another,
there are some batsmen whose ODI career has been great, yet they have not been
able to score a hundred.
Today we will tell you about five such batsmen who have not
scored a century in their one-day career.
In this we have taken the same batters who have played at
least 75 ODIs and are the main batsmen of their team.
Misbah Ul Haq
Misbah is considered one of the most successful captains of
Pakistan Cricket History. His record is also very good as a batsman in Test
matches but he can not repeat the Test match in ODIs.
Misbah has scored more than 5000 runs in both Test and ODI
cricket, but where he scored 10 hundreds in Test matches, his account of
hundred in ODIs did not even open. Despite making 5122 runs at an average of 43
in 162 matches, Misbah did not score any century. He scored 42 half-centuries
in his career while his highest score was 96 *.
Misbah's ODI career was 13 years long, but he could reach
just over two times and reach the top of the order twice and both are out of
the ground. Which included 93 * against New Zealand and an innings of 96 *
against the West Indies in the Champions Trophy.
